S.T.E.P. Reunion
In 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Was invited to MSU by Dr. Robert L. Green and Rev. John Duley to launch the Students Tutorial Education Project (STEP). To recognize the contributions of the STEP volunteers and the achievements of the students who benefited from MSU’s service to others, there was a STEP reunion during the university’s Martin Luther King Jr., celebratory activities, Jan. 13-15, 2007.
Tools of Engagement
In an effort to expand students’ interest in civic engagement, the Tools of Engagement modules are being created for graduate and undergraduate students who wish to improve their practice abilities. The Tools are a series of learning modules on community engagement competencies that provide engagement opportunities that are mutually beneficial to students and community partners.
