Principal Shopping District (PSD)
The Lansing Principal Shopping District (PSD) was created in 1996 to improve the business climate in the region that includes the downtown and Old Town. Its mission is to provide promotions, marketing and special events; maintain the physical environment; and actively recruit new businesses within the District. The PSD is considered a quasi-governmental agency. There are several volunteer positions available in communication program.
