Find a Service Opportunity
Spring 2010 Registration begins on Friday, January 8th starting at 8:00 a.m. Please click on the Search Positions link below to log in to our database of positions.
If you are a Michigan State University student, you may log on to our website and search our database for opportunities for the current semester. Fall and spring semester opportunities become available online starting the Friday before classes begin. Summer opportunities become available online the last day of classes of spring semester. You can check the date by clicking on the link below to peruse the calendar. If you would prefer to speak with one of our staff advisors, please stop by the CSLCE Help Center in room 30 Student Services Building, Monday-Friday, between Noon and 5pm. Through the CSLCE MSU indemnifies students engaged in registered service opportunities. MSU does not provide accident or health insurance for students engaged in domestic service.
If you are not affiliated with Michigan State University, it is not possible for you to use the online option. If you are a student at another college or university and are interested in a position at Ingham Regional Medical Center or within the Sparrow Health System, please email servlrn@msu.edu or call 517-353-4400. Please indicate that you are a non-MSU college/university student interested in signing up for a service-learning position in a hospital and you are not an MSU student. One of our staff advisors will discuss options with you. If you are a non-MSU student interested in non-hospital related service in the Greater Lansing community, or a community member interested in volunteer opportunities, please visit Capital Area United Way Volunteer Center.
