Volunteer at a Hospital

The Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) works collaboratively with two local hospitals, Sparrow Health Systems and McLaren Greater Lansing (formerly Ingham Regional). The CSLCE places 300-500 students in service-learning positions at the hospitals per semester. Since you are a college student, the ONLY way to volunteer in the hospitals is through the CSLCE.

Depending on if you are a MSU student or a non-MSU students there are different ways to register for a position. Please select one of the options below:

MSU Student

Non-MSU Student (Registration Closed)

What's Your 110?

Spartans are pledging to serve 110 hours this year to honor the Civil Rights anniversaries celebrated by Project 60/50. Our goal as a community is to give 110,000 hours to Greater Lansing and beyond before MLK Day, January 2015!

Those who participate will receive encouragement and recognition along the way, no matter how many hours they complete. The yearlong Spartan service challenge demonstrates the MSU community's commitment to service.
